西の正月前準備の一つ、結び昆布。
古い京式の朝のおせち前に、お福茶を三ヶ日戴く。お茶の中に入れるものの一つがその結び昆布で、仏さん＋人数分×三ヶ日分の結び昆布を作るのは嫁仕事。
布巾で湿らした昆布を小さい短冊に切って、切り込みに胡座をかかせて結ぶ。簡単な筈なのに、毎回正月前にはその結び方を忘れ四苦八苦。新年を迎える前に初心に戻る作業だ。
今年の昆布は良く結べた。
来年も、初心忘れべからず。何事もシンプルに、美しく、潔く。

息子っちとりんりんはどんな具合かしら？うちは元気よく姉弟で遊んでおります。
息子っち年越ししたのね。私たちは9時過ぎまで頑張ったもののやっぱり無理。普段通りです(笑)
